Mee-Gaik Lim, Ph.D., LPCS, LMFT holds a Bachelor of Science degree in counseling and guidance, a Master of Arts degree in marriage and family counseling, and a doctorate degree in marriage and family therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and actively supervises interns who are working towards licensure for both certifications. She has published extensively on the topics of family, stage models of counseling, and attachment theories. Her areas of research include family ethnicity, family wellness, marital satisfaction and clinical supervision.

           Lim also directed and administered grant activities which primarily focused on providing preventive education for parents and children in public schools and community agencies. Some of those programs focused on developing discipline skills, helping parents increase effective parenting skills, and working with resistant children and teens.
